About the Role
Belmont Golf & Bowls Club is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated team member to join our Driving Range Café & Bar team. This is a varied role that combines customer service, café operations, and driving range supervision to ensure our members and guests enjoy an exceptional experience.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the driving range facility, serving customers in the café, maintaining presentation standards, and assisting with future bar operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons.
- Oversee the daily operation of the driving range and ensure it runs smoothly.
- Oversee driving range, ball sales, and response to customer enquiries.
- Prepare and serve café food, beverages, coffee, and snacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café, bar, and driving range areas.
- Monitor range equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Restock supplies and assist with stock control.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions.
- Follow all food safety, workplace health and safety, and club procedures.
- Assist with bar service and alcohol sales as required.
Essential Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, public holidays.
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate, or willingness to obtain one as soon as possible.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, cafés, bars, or customer service.
- Knowledge of golf and driving range operations.
- (RSA/ (RCG) Certificates.
- Experience using point-of-sale systems.
