About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Ward, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a dynamic acute hospital environment. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients with a broad range of medical conditions.
In this rewarding role, you will utilise your clinical knowledge, judgement and problem-solving skills to provide safe and effective care while supporting patients and their families during their hospital stay. You will work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals, contribute to a positive team culture, and participate in a seven-day rotating roster including public holidays and night shifts.
About You
You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care. You hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and bring relevant clinical experience within an acute hospital and/or outpatient setting.
You are confident in your clinical assessment and decision-making abilities, with strong problem-solving skills that enable you to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly and professionally, using both written and digital systems to support clinical care and documentation. A collaborative team player, you thrive in a multidisciplinary setting and are committed to delivering outcome-focused, evidence-based care that puts patients first.
What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
