Nursery Educator – Brand New Centre | Allambie Heights - Giraffe ELC
Full-time | 38 hours across 4 long days (9.5 hours per day + 1 day off)
We are excited to invite passionate and nurturing Nursery Educators to join our new centre in Allambie Heights.
Our centre features bright, modern rooms, thoughtfully designed for infants, and a large, engaging playground that supports sensory exploration and early movement. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new team from the beginning and help shape a high-quality nursery environment.
About the Role:
- Provide warm, responsive and nurturing care for children under 15 months
- Build strong, secure attachments with infants through consistent and sensitive caregiving
- Support daily routines including feeding, sleeping and nappy changes with respect and care
- Create calm, engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
- Observe and document children’s learning and development
- Communicate openly and professionally with families
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team in a brand-new centre
About You:
- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Have a genuine passion for working with babies under 15 months
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of infant development and responsive care practices
- Are calm, patient, nurturing and reliable
- Value teamwork, professionalism and high-quality care
- Thrive in a new environment and enjoy helping build something special
