JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Metal Roof Plumber to join our roofing team in WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing and rainwater systems on residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, repair, and replace metal roofing.
- Install flashings, gutters, downpipes, fascia, and rainwater systems.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and job specifications.
- Carry out roof inspections and identify defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and WA building regulations.
- Work safely at heights using appropriate safety equipment.
- Collaborate with team to ensure projects meet deadlines and adhere to high quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times.
- Complete basic job documentation and reports as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Formal qualifications in roof plumbing is essential.
- Strong practical skills and technical knowledge of roofing systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working across different job types and crew setups, not just one fixed role.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Roof Plumber or similar role.
- Experience working in residential and commercial roofs.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of metal roofing systems and installation techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Working Safely at Heights ticket (preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Inclusions:
- Plus Superannuation entitlements.
Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
