Client Services Manager / Financial Planning Assistant
About the business:
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, our Ballina based Financial Planning firm is seeking a part-time Client Services Manager to support its Financial Planners.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate seeking an ongoing or new role in financial services. As our Client Services Manager you would play an important role in co-ordinating adviser activities, dealing with client requests and managing the administration requirements within our offices. The position would suit an administration manager looking for career advancement or change, or office assistant wanting to upskill. The role comes with the potential to be trained in para-planning as part of your career progression.
The Position:
- Co-ordinate all financial planning workflow from initial client contact, booking and scheduling reviews and client meetings to implementation.
- Management of Financial Planning compliance tasks
- Client File and document management utilising internal CRM, Microsoft Office software
- Admin support for principal financial advisers.
- Liaising with product providers and third parties as required.
- Consult with clients to ensure expectations are being met and service standards delivered.
- Contributing to continuous process improvement.

Ideally, you will have:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a small team environment is essential.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Strong IT capabilities and skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint are expected.
- Previous experience working in a finance environment will be highly regarded.
The role is 3 days a week with the salary package being pro rated based on the annual pay rate.
