About the Role
The Inclusive Learning Assistant provides targeted and responsive support for identified students through individualised intervention, inclusive practice and wellbeing focused engagement. Working in partnership with teachers and the Inclusive Learning Team, the role contributes to learning growth, participation and belonging by creating safe, supportive and responsive environments that enable students to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
This role supports students with identified learning, behavioural, social and emotional needs and contributes to a culture of inclusion aligned with CGS strategic priorities and child centred practice.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
- Certificate IV in Learning Support/Disability Support or equivalent or willingness to study towards one
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills that will assist in the teaching of effective learning behaviours to students
- Aptitude for learning new IT systems such as those used at the school
- The ability to assist with the general health and well-being of students

- Appropriate qualifications
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
- A current National Police Check
- Full working rights within Australia.
