The Role: Elevate the Experience
We are seeking an exceptional and energetic Assistant Venue Manager at The Amberton who has a wealth of experience in training a team with measurable results. Someone who leads their team by example, empowers people to grow, and supports them to become leaders.
The Amberton is more than just a coastal landmark; it’s a destination. Known for our idyllic ocean views, electric atmosphere, and a curated food and beverage program that sets the standard for the shore.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead by example in a fast-paced environment. Be a point of contact for all things service, compliance and hospitality.
Operational Excellence: Take ownership of front-of-house duties, including accurate stocktaking, inventory control, and mastering the POS system for seamless reporting.
Team Development: Champion a culture of learning by upskilling staff on product knowledge, service techniques, and beverage preparation.
Customer Experience: Lead the floor during service, setting the standard for a warm welcome and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the TMG quality.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Industry Experience: A solid background managing high-volume hospitality environments (bars, bistros, or restaurants). You are comfortable working and leading at a solid pace.
A Passion for Product: A genuine interest in food/ beverage trends and local produce, with the creative flair to help shape our beverage program.
Operational Mindset: You have a head for numbers and organisation, ready to tackle stock control and operational efficiency with accuracy.
Leadership Potential: You are a natural coach who enjoys upskilling others, fostering a collaborative culture and leading by example on the floor.
Mandatory Requirements
Current WA Approved Manager’s Card (Unrestricted)
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
Current Food Handlers Certificate.
Chemform Training Certificate.
