Job description:
Tram Assist and Care is seeking a caring and reliable aged and disability support worker for our participants based in Cabramatta and Fairfield area. This role involves travelling between customers’ homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centric care and support.

Salary: Based on the respective Fair Work pay guide and your experience.
Hours: Hours may vary based on your availability and willingness to work.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers using aids and personal equipment, including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
- Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
Requirements:
- Valid Australian work rights, Visa - if an overseas student
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- National Police Check within the last 3 years with no disclosable outcomes
- Smartphone with internet access
- COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate & COVID Vaccination History
- Speaks Vietnamese (preferred but not essential)
Desired qualifications:
- Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (or willing to obtain)
- Work with Children Check Clearance (preferred but not essential)
- Professional qualification/certificates (preferred but not essential)
