QuickCare is partnering with a well-established early learning service in East Maitland seeking an experienced and motivated 2IC / Assistant Director to join their leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early childhood professional ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and high-quality service. You will work closely alongside an experienced Centre Director and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations, mentoring educators, and maintaining strong quality practices across the centre.

About the Role
As the 2IC, you will support the Centre Director in the daily management of the service while helping guide and mentor educators to maintain a positive, collaborative, and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Director with daily operations and leadership duties
- Mentor and guide educators across the service
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the community
- Support compliance with EYLF, NQS, and centre policies
- Assist in maintaining a positive and supportive team culture
- Contribute to curriculum planning and quality improvement practices
About You
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Previous leadership experience within early childhood education
- Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and Child Protection requirements
- Confident leadership and communication skills
- Passionate about high-quality education and team development
- Reliable, positive, and team-focused
