Supporting Abilities For Everyone (S.A.F.E) is seeking an experienced disability support worker for a male child participant in Frankston.
About Participant:
- 13 year old male
- Autism level 2 and ADHD diagnosis
- Behaviours of concerns: refusal, yelling/screaming at you, hits parent (not support worker)
- Interests: gaming (Roblox/Minecraft), cars, trains, lego, and riding scooter/bike to local park.
- Participant is addicted to his electronic devices which can contribute to his behaviours.
- Requires support with morning routine and transport to school in Endeavour Hills.
About You:
- Female support worker aged between 20-35years old (participant preference but open to males)
- Autism experience required
- Behaviours of concern experience favourable
- Must have a car
- Can start ASAP (shadow shift provided by current support staff)
Shifts Available:
- 8:00am - 10:00am, two to three days a week
- Evening shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00pm - 8:00pm or 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Essential Selection Criteria (or willingness to obtain):
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Current National Police Check (no more than 6 months old).
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status/if working with participants <18 years of age).
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- A reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance (to transport participants).
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum of two doses).
- The right to work in Australia.

Pay: $40.00 – $86.00 per hour
