Phone Planet is recognised for providing high-quality mobile phone accessories, device repairs, and customer-focused retail services. Our stores offer a wide range of smartphones, tablets, accessories, and professional repair solutions, delivering reliable products and exceptional customer service to local communities.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail stores and lead our sales team to achieve outstanding business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail stores to ensure efficient, profitable and customer-focused performance.
- Determine product selection, stock levels and merchandising standards to meet customer demand and maximise sales.
- Monitor sales performance, recommend pricing and promotional activities, and identify opportunities to improve business results.
- Maintain inventory control, coordinate purchasing and ensure accurate stock and sales records.
- Prepare staff rosters, recruit, train, supervise and motivate retail staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints and after-sales service in a professional and timely manner, including providing product advice where required.
- Monitor store revenue and operating expenses, assist with budgeting and implement cost-effective operational practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and retail operating procedures.
- Work closely with suppliers, repair technicians and the marketing team to support product launches, in-store promotions and consistent brand presentation across all stores.
- Analyse sales trends, customer feedback and market demand to support business growth and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Diploma degree or higher in Business, Management, Retail Management, Marketing or a related discipline.
- At least 1 years of relevant retail management experience, preferably within the mobile phone, consumer electronics or telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing retail operations and leading a team.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience with inventory management, merchandising and sales reporting.
- Ability to analyse business performance and implement strategies to improve sales and operational efficiency.
- Sound computer skills and experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English. Additional language skills will be considered an advantage.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
