We are a Sydney-based architectural design studio delivering projects across a range of scales and building classifications, from Class 1 luxury residential developments to medium- and large-scale Class 2 and Class 3 residential and commercial projects.
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our CC team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate Construction Certificate documentation.
Develop detailed architectural drawings from design development through to construction documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, including structural, civil, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, fire, access and waterproofing consultants.
Review consultant documentation and resolve coordination issues.
Assist with compliance reviews against the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, council requirements and relevant authority conditions.
Prepare detailed plans, sections, elevations, schedules and construction details.
Respond to RFIs and assist with design clarifications during construction.
Work collaboratively with project architects, directors, consultants and clients.
Essential Requirements
Minimum three years of local architectural experience in Australia.
Strong experience using ArchiCAD.
Experience preparing detailed architectural documentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify coordination issues.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with Construction Certificate documentation.
Experience working on medium- to large-scale Class 2 and Class 3 projects..
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
Experience responding to RFIs and assisting during the construction phase.
