Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be based at our workshop located at 1–16 Silvretta Court, Clyde North, VIC 3978, and will be responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical repair and maintenance services while contributing to the efficient operation of our workshop.
Skills and Experience:
- Identifying and diagnosing issues in engines and components.
- Disassembling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other elements, while inspecting parts.
- Conducting repairs and replacing worn or defective parts, followed by reassembling mechanical components and consulting service manuals as necessary.
- Performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to enhance vehicle performance and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
- Reassembling engines and parts post-repair.
- Testing and adjusting mechanical components to ensure proper functionality after repairs.
- Diagnosing and testing parts using computer assistance.
- Inspecting vehicles and issuing roadworthiness certificates or specifying necessary work to achieve roadworthiness.
Qualification:
· AQF Certificate III OR
· AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
· At least three years of relevant experience.
Remuneration:
