IPS Australia is currently looking for a qualified Sales Manager - New Equipment sales with proven years of experience.
Your role will include but not limited to:
- Support the sales and business development activities of the Principals in Australia for the defined product lines and market segments
- Follows the sales objectives and strategies defined by the Principals
- Build and maintain good customer relationship with end-users, EPC’s and licensors
- Ensure early identification of opportunities with end-customer (before EPC award) and with EPC
- Manage opportunities with end-customers and with EPC's
- Collect and compile overall tender information and share it with the Principals
- Develop and propose the sales tactics
- Analyze market price and suggest tender pricing
- Submit and defend budget tenders – technically and commercially – on behalf of Principals
- Participate in negotiations between customers and Principals
- Follow-up with customer after submission of tender
- Supports the interests of Principals for the successful closing
- Participate to transfer meeting with Principals in case of order
- Provide regular market reporting to the Principals
- Manage and update the opportunities pipeline
- Provide local support for Principals activities during pre-order phase
- People Management – Aftermarket Sales Team
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Master or bachelor's degree preferably in either mechanical engineering or process engineering, or similar education
- Several years of experience in Sales, Professional Sales organization of international company and multi culture teams
- Is familiar with the oil and gas / energy industry including EPC involvement
- Very good English skills, spoken and written
- Ideally:
- Previous experience with a compressor manufacturer
- Knowledge of the Hydrogen market
- Strong sales and negotiation skills as well as tactical thinking
- Result-oriented and highly motivated professional
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within Australia
- Interpersonal and leadership skills as well as cultural sensitivity

Salary package per year:
- Base salary - $180,000 + Super
- Car Allowance - $19,000.
