Cadence Connect has partnered exclusively with a leading technology consultancy to appoint a Principal Architect within a Cyber Security & Identity practice.
This is a senior appointment for an experienced architect who enjoys combining technical leadership, customer engagement, solution architecture and technical presales. Working with enterprise organisations across Australia and New Zealand, you'll partner with CIOs, CISOs and senior technology leaders to solve complex Cyber Security & Identity challenges, design enterprise solutions and contribute to the technical direction of a highly regarded consulting practice.
The Opportunity
Working across a portfolio of enterprise customers, you'll lead architecture engagements from initial discovery through to solution design and implementation oversight. You'll support technical presales, mentor Solution Architects and Consultants, and provide strategic technical leadership across a diverse range of customer engagements.
This is a highly visible position where you'll influence customer strategy, architecture standards and the evolution of an established consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture engagements across Cyber Security & Identity initiatives.
- Facilitate customer workshops and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design enterprise architectures aligned with business objectives, security requirements and industry best practice.
- Support technical presales through customer workshops, solution design, Statements of Work and proposal development.
- Provide architecture governance and technical oversight throughout project delivery.
- Mentor Solution Architects and Consultants, promoting technical excellence and consistency across customer engagements.
- Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and provide strategic technology advice.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of architecture standards, delivery methodologies and consulting capability.
About You
You'll be an experienced architect with a consulting or enterprise background and experience across a number of the following disciplines:
- Cyber Security Architecture
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Microsoft Entra ID and Hybrid Identity
- Authentication, Federation and Identity Standards
- Zero Trust Architecture
- Enterprise & Solution Architecture
- Cloud Architecture
- Architecture Governance & Design Assurance
- Technical Presales
- Executive Stakeholder Engagement
Experience applying recognised architecture and security frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, Microsoft Zero Trust, NIST, ISO 27001, Essential Eight, Australian ISM and NZISM will be highly regarded.
Beyond your technical capability, you'll be comfortable leading executive workshops, influencing technology strategy, supporting business development and mentoring other architects.
