New Graduate Physiotherapist — Taren Point
Urban Physiotherapy is opening a new clinic in Taren Point, and we're looking for a New Graduate Physiotherapist to join us from the start.
We're an award-winning sports physiotherapy clinic, best known for our North Sydney practice. Taren Point is our second location, and while it's a new clinic, you won't be starting from scratch on your own. You'll have the full backing of our existing team, systems and reputation behind you.
If you want more out of your first job than just a foot in the door, we'd like to hear from you.
The Role
You'll manage a varied musculoskeletal and sports caseload, and you'll be supported the whole way as you develop your clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment and exercise prescription skills. You don't need to have it all figured out on day one — we're after someone curious, willing to learn, and genuinely interested in helping people get better.
You'll get exposure to:
- Musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy
- Manual and hands-on therapy
- Exercise-based rehabilitation
- Strength and conditioning
- Clinical assessment and reasoning
- Injury prevention and return to sport
- Patient communication and education
You'll also work alongside our network of GPs, orthopaedic surgeons, specialists and radiology providers, which is a good way to get exposure to the wider healthcare system early in your career.
Part of a Bigger Team
You'll be based at Taren Point, but you're joining the wider Urban Physiotherapy team, including our North Sydney clinic. In practice, that means:
- Team social events and culture days across both clinics
- Regular inservices and clinical education
- Group case reviews and clinical discussions
- Mentorship from experienced physiotherapists across the business
- Other clinicians outside your own clinic to learn from and ask questions
We think being a good clinician is about more than what happens in the treatment room, so we try to build a team culture that actually supports people.
