Key role and responsibilities:
Configure and manage application performance monitoring (APM) for distributed systems using New Relic.
Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations using New Relic.
Set up dashboards, alerts, and custom instrumentation for proactive monitoring.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate New Relic into CI/CD pipelines.
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for Azure resources using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Create and manage alerts, metrics, and diagnostic logs for cloud infrastructure and applications using Azure Monitor.
Install and configure New Relic agent on cloud and on-premises servers and work with different technical teams to configure required monitoring.
Perform migration of monitoring from Splunk to New-Relic
Create and maintain monitoring dashboards.
Work in incidents, service requests, changes and project activities.
Must Have:
- New Relic: Agent Deployment & Configuration; Monitoring, Alerting & Threshold Management; Dashboard & Report Creation; Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization; User & Access Management; Integration & Scaling; Maintenance & Upgrades; Ability to correlate New Relic alerts/incidents with other tools (e.g. ServiceNow) & respond accordingly, Tools migration experience from Splunk to Newrelic.
Good to Have :
- Azure Monitor: Experience in configuring and managing Azure Monitor
- AWS CloudWatch: Experience in configuring and managing AWS CloudWatch
- Splunk: Experience in configuring and managing Splunk
