As a Chef at Hecho en Mexico, your key responsibilities will include-
- Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance on proper cooking procedures to ensure top-quality dishes.
- Preparing and cooking a variety of foods while maintaining the highest standards.
- Ensuring strict adherence to hygiene regulations and enforcing cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborating with Managers, and both kitchen and waiting staff to address any food preparation concerns and ensure smooth operations.
- Designing and planning seasonal menu items as well as managing the ordering of food supplies.
- Potentially selecting, training, and supervising kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and skilled team.
About You
We would like to get to know if you have-
- 1-2 years of experience working with authentic Mexican dishes in a high-volume environment (Required)
- Relevant Commercial Cookery/Hospitality qualification (Diploma or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Mexican cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills
