Veolia is seeking an experienced Planning & Reliability Engineer to lead asset management and maintenance planning at our Springvale Water Treatment Facility in Lithgow. What you'll be responsible for
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead compliance and strategy – Develop and implement asset management plans that ensure operational availability and asset integrity
Optimise maintenance delivery – Create and manage work orders for routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance across all assets
Drive reliability – Establish condition monitoring programs, conduct root cause analysis for incidents, and implement corrective actions
Plan for the future – Develop capital replacement programs and long-term preventive maintenance strategies
Manage resources – Oversee inventory, spare parts assessment, and CMMS system updates
Deliver results – Prepare budgets, reports, and KPIs; lead Reliability Centred Maintenance workshops
Champion improvement – Support problem-solving initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement across operations and maintenance teams
What you'll need to be successful
Engineering qualifications or experience deemed equivalent
Advanced understanding of CMMS in an industrial environment
Knowledge of chemical, mechanical and electrical assets
Maintenance and shutdown work pack experience
