Support Worker – Ringwood VIC (NDIS)
Domestic Assistance with Opportunity for Ongoing Support Work
Grace Quality Care is looking for a compassionate, reliable and professional Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in Ringwood.
This role will initially involve domestic assistance (cleaning), with the opportunity to increase hours as the participant becomes more comfortable and rapport is established. Future supports are expected to include community access, transport to appointments, and other capacity-building activities.
Position Details
Location: Ringwood, VIC
Shift: Thursday, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Frequency: Fortnightly
Initial Hours: 2 hours per shift
Potential for additional hours as the participant's support needs increase
About the Role
Initially you will assist with:
- General household cleaning
- Maintaining a safe and tidy home environment
As supports progress, duties may include:
- Transport to appointments
- Community access and social participation
- Shopping and errands
- General daily living support
- Building independence and confidence
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Excellent verbal English communication skills, as clear communication is important to this participant, must be Australian
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional boundaries
- Reliable, compassionate and person-centred approach
