About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to join Juniper as our new Relief Residential Manager, supporting our regional residential aged care sites (Albany & Esperance). This is an exciting opportunity to lead dedicated teams, drive operational excellence, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Western Australians.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, energetic, and results-driven, with a strong background in people leadership, operational management, and navigating change within the care sector. We welcome applications from professionals with experience in aged care, healthcare, disability services, or other human services environments.
The right candidate would be willing to travel and assist with other regional facilities as per operations need.
This is a fixed-term, full-time contract for 12 months, with travel across our regional sites as required.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that enhances the wellbeing and quality of life of residents.

Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and all relevant legislative requirements.

Build strong relationships with residents, families, and key stakeholders by actively seeking and responding to feedback.

Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Partner with corporate services to manage budgets, financial performance, and operational outcomes.

Monitor roster costs, revenue, and expenditure to ensure financial sustainability.

Lead change initiatives and support teams through periods of transition.

Promote a safe workplace by participating in risk management, hazard identification, and emergency preparedness activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualifications in business, leadership, nursing, or another relevant discipline (AHPRA registration required where applicable).

Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience leading teams and successfully managing organisational change.

Strong business acumen, including financial and budget management experience.

Proficiency in using information systems to support reporting and informed decision-making.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

A current National Police Clearance and successful completion of key personnel checks, including bankruptcy screening.

A current and valid Australian driver's licence.
