Biwon is a Korean restaurant located in Eastwood.
We offer Korean-chinese style dishes in a fast-paced dining environment.
We are currently seeking a full-time Chef to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cooking stir-frired korean/chinese dishes on wok
- Preparation of meat and vegetables cut into exact sizes
- Preparing and cooking noodles (all stages from flour mix to cooking)
- Storage of ingredients and flour mix in correct temperatures
- Maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
- Supervising and training other kitchen staffs and cooks
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
Requirements
- Relevant experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
- Experience with Korean or chinese cuisine preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good teamwork and leadership skills
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
