Our organisation is growing and caring of its people. We're seeking an experienced and dependable Yard Person / Driver to join our team in Badgerys Creek, NSW. Reporting into our Operations team, you will play a key role in keeping our vehicle delivery and storage operations running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Perform the acceptance, internal movement, storage and staging of new motor vehicles - both inwards and outwards
Utilise technology to scan and track inventory, ensuring accurate records
Contribute to a safe workplace through quality work practices
Inspect returned fleet and report any damages immediately
Refuel and perform basic maintenance on equipment
About You
Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual. A genuine team player
Experience working as a yard hand or similar within the automotive sector
Strong concentrations skills, accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks
HR truck licence, loading / unloading equipment preferable
Strong commitment to safety and the ability to promote a positive safety culture
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Hands-on mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for maintenance needs
