Smartworks Education Centre is growing, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Tutors to join our team.
We provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students can build their skills, confidence and love of learning. We’re looking for tutors who genuinely enjoy working with young people and can make learning positive, engaging and achievable.
Who we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from:
- University students who have successfully completed their HSC
- Pre-service teachers
- Qualified teachers
- Primary school tutors
- High school specialist subject tutors
- Applicants confident tutoring subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and other secondary subjects
Previous tutoring experience is an advantage, but the right attitude, reliability and ability to connect with students are equally important.
About the role
As a Smartworks tutor, you’ll work with students to support their individual learning needs, reinforce classroom concepts and help them develop greater confidence and independence.
You’ll be expected to communicate clearly, explain concepts in different ways and create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and having a go.

- Passionate about education and helping students succeed
- Able to explain concepts clearly
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of our team
- Available for regular after-school tutoring sessions
