Ready to step up and lead from the front? Aestec Services is currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team on a long-term project at Yarwun on the projects team. If you’re a hands-on leader with a strong carpentry background and the drive to get the job done right — this is your opportunity to build something meaningful.
- Formwork construction
- Small concreting works – including steel fixing and pours
- General carpentry tasks
- Leading a small team to ensure safe, quality, and timely delivery
- Qualified Carpenter with demonstrated site-based experience
- Proven leadership or Leading Hand experience
- Strong understanding of formwork and minor concreting
- Ability to read and interpret plans and follow scopes of work
- Solid understanding of WHS and ability to lead a team safely
- Construction White Card
- High level of reliability, initiative, and communication
- Civil experience operating excavators, skid steers, rollers, or trucks
- RIIs or VOCs for plant machinery
- Experience in industrial or heavy industry environments
- Ongoing, long-term local work in Gladstone
