Willunga Child Care Centre is now hiring for a diploma qualified room leader and responsible persons in Early Child Care and Education. We are a prominent centre located in Quakers Hill and have been operating since 1998.
Opening positions for educators who have a passion for looking after the development of children, and are motivated in starting a successful career in this space are now open.
Duties of room leaders are listed but not limited to:
- Encouraging the development of the children enrolled in our centre.
- Planning lesson programs for and supporting the learning and growth of our children, such as school work and group learning activities in accordance to ELYF and NQS.
- Ensuring the running of daily transitions and operations runs smoothly and in accordance to regulations when director and ECT is unavailable.
- Showing a good sense of teamwork with staff.
- Completing individual tasks required as a room leader within our centre which includes but not limited to;
- -updating the QIP, planning programs, ensuring team members and self are working within regulations, supporting the director and ECT in day to day management.
All educators will be supported with hands on training by ECT and director to be part of our management team.
Candidates must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Candidates MUST also hold a WWCC, up to date first aid and CPR in education setting, up to date anaphylaxis and food handing certificate.
