This is a varied and rewarding role that includes a mix of:
- Onsite support work
- Community-based support work
- Office and administration support
- Assisting with group programs and activities
- Potential involvement in the general day-to-day running of the business
We are seeking someone who is proactive, organised, compassionate and confident working with children, teens and adults with additional needs.
About the Role
The successful applicant will support participants both within our centre and out in the community, while also assisting with administration and program coordination tasks. This position would suit someone who enjoys a dynamic role and is looking to grow within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working in disability support or similar roles
- Certificate III in Disability Support (or equivalent qualification)
- Medication competency/component completed
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (but not essential)
- Full Driver’s Licence
- Experience with group programs or community participation supports
- Administration or office experience
- Social Media creativity experience
