About the Role
Glow Health Care Australia is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to support and improve the technology systems used across our disability, aged care, home care, allied health and NDIS service operations.
In this role, you will work with managers, employees, external vendors and technology teams to identify business needs, analyse existing systems and implement practical technology solutions. You will help ensure our systems are secure, reliable, compliant and aligned with the organisation’s operational requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyse existing systems, applications and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Consult with stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into system designs and technical specifications.
- Prepare system workflows, process maps, data mappings and functional documentation.
- Recommend system enhancements, new applications and improvements to existing platforms.
- Coordinate the implementation and rollout of new systems and system upgrades.
- Develop and conduct system, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Investigate system defects and coordinate resolutions with vendors and development teams.
- Support the integration of third-party applications with internal systems and platforms.
- Monitor system interfaces and data flows to maintain accuracy and interoperability.
- Prepare user guides, technical procedures, training materials and system documentation.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for complex system-related issues.
- Assist with staff training and change-management activities during system implementations.
- Ensure systems comply with privacy, cybersecurity, data-governance and healthcare requirements.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and recommend further system improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
- At least two to three years of relevant experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or in a similar ICT position.
- Experience analysing, implementing and supporting organisational or enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, process mapping and technical documentation.
- Experience with system integration, APIs, databases and data modelling.
- Experience conducting integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with SQL, Visio, Jira, Confluence or similar tools.
- Understanding of Agile, Waterfall or other software-development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of information security, privacy and data-governance principles.
- Experience in healthcare, disability, aged care, community services or NDIS operations is desirable.
- ITIL, CBAP, PRINCE2 or similar certification would be advantageous.
