As an Assistant Store Manager at Burson, you’ll play a hands-on role in leading day-to-day operations, driving sales, and motivating your team to perform at their best.
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to support our Helensvale branch. At Burson, you’re never just a number—you’ll be part of a supportive, close‑knit team working together to connect our people, our customers, and our business every single day.
Key Responsibilities

Handling automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers

Provide a high level of customer service with an emphasis on customer retention & development

Assisting with inventory control
-
Maintaining store standards and adhere to company policies, procedures and OH & S compliance

Supporting the Store Manager

Leading and supporting your team
Qualifications
-
Experience within retail and sales based roles
-
Proven track record of working towards and achieving KPIs and budgetary targets
-
Demonstrated experience in inventory and stock management
-
Strong people skills with the ability to motivate, develop and support team members
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-
Proficiency in time keeping, organisation and prioritisation of multiple tasks
-
Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Additional Information

Background in European vehicles would be an advantage
