Before You Apply
- To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
- Your own reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Availability to work at least three weekdays (Monday to Friday)
As this role involves travelling between clients' homes and may include transporting clients to appointments or community activities, these requirements are essential.
About the Role
As a Home Care Support Worker, you'll help Australians maintain their independence and quality of life by providing:
✅ Domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry
✅ Personal care and hygiene support
✅ Meal preparation and shopping assistance
✅ Medication reminders
✅ Mobility support and community access
✅ Social support and companionship
Most importantly, you'll build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference in people's lives every day.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking people with a positive attitude, a caring nature and a genuine passion for helping others.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- A compassionate and client-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Our ideal candidate will hold one of the following:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Home & Community Care; OR
- Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing (including students who have successfully completed their first year of study)
- Candidates without relevant qualifications must have at least three months of paid care work experience to be considered.
In addition, you'll need:
- Current Australian working rights
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (we can assist successful candidates with obtaining a Police Check)
