Description:
XL Glazing Pty Ltd, based in Belmont (WA), is a commercial door and window leading business in Perth Metro Area, specialising in the fabrication and installation of high-quality windows and doors. We are dedicated to delivering superior quality and precision to meet the demands of modern architecture and energy efficiency standards.
The company is now seeking 3 full time glaziers with at least:
- Australian certificate III in Glazing or equivalent and 12 months of full-time experience; or
- 3 years of full-time experience in lieu of the relevant qualification
Key tasks include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
- Determine shape, size and thickness of glass required
- Measuring and marking lines or pattern on glass before cutting
- Cutting glass to size and specification in workshop and on site
- Cut and smooth rough edges
- Conducting quality check to all glass and identify defective areas if necessary
- Cutting, assembling, fitting and attaching metal-framed glass enclosures.
- On site measuring to determine type and dimension of glass panels required
- On site glass installation
- Glass repair to aluminium, timber, steel framed windows, doors, pool fencing and balustrades
- Operation and maintenance of glass machines including polisher, shaped edger polisher, hole driller, glass cutting
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Strong commitment to safety compliance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering effective results.
- Drivers licence.
- National Police Clearance.
