We are supporting the establishment of a high-quality team for a brand-new, proudly family-owned early learning service in Box Hill. The centre is dedicated to delivering exceptional education and care within a supportive, collaborative, and values-driven environment.
We are seeking an experienced and confident Educational Leader to join the team in an off-the-floor capacity, driving curriculum excellence and mentoring educators to achieve best practice outcomes across the service.
About the Role
- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF
- Mentor, coach, and support educators to strengthen practice and professional growth
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold quality standards across the service
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to maintain compliance and exceed NQS standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaged team culture
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, child-centred teaching and learning experiences in line with EYLF principles
- Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum that promotes curiosity, confidence, and holistic development
- Support team members through reflective practice, collaboration, and shared learning
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement and embed NQS standards across all practices
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider community
- Lead meaningful documentation, ensuring observations and learning outcomes are clearly linked to developmental progress
About You
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Essential)
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as Educational Leader
- Proven experience in a leadership or senior educator role
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant regulations
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
- Passionate, approachable, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
