TruTrac Mechanical is a WA owned, family-operated business and has new opportunities available for experienced Asset Inspectors across the Perth Metropolitan area with Adhoc FIFO.
TruTrac Mechanical provides inspection, reporting and maintenance support services across the mining, civil and construction industries, working on a wide range of mobile plant and heavy equipment.
Your Role:
General duties across all roles will include conducting detailed inspections on heavy mobile plant equipment to assess asset condition, identify defects and provide accurate reporting. Equipment inspected may include excavators, loaders, graders, trucks, water carts, dozers and other earthmoving equipment.
Responsibilities will include carrying out machine inspections, identifying wear and damage, documenting findings, compiling inspection reports, liaising with clients and ensuring all inspections are completed in accordance with company and site procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics, Mobile Plant or Heavy Diesel
- Minimum 3 years working on heavy mobile plant equipment.
- Previous asset inspection experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a range of earthmoving equipment.
- Ability to identify defects, wear patterns and component condition.
- High attention to detail with strong written reporting skills.
- Experience using inspection software and Microsoft Office desirable.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence (HR desirable).
- Ability to work safely and follow workplace procedures.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and reliable.
