Details: The Long Service Leave Authority (ACT Leave) is a Statutory Authority of the ACT Government responsible for the administration of portable long service leave benefit schemes for covered industries within the ACT.
Our vision is to make portable long service leave universally understood and recognised as an important and accepted part of the employment landscape. Our activities are determined by the Long Service Leave (Portable Schemes) Act 2009, and we are governed by a Board of Directors appointed under the legislation. ACT Leave is headed by the Chief Executive Officer and Registrar, supported by an Executive Team comprising the Deputy Registrar, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Finance Officer.
As the Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting team success. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, you will contribute to the work of the team and ensure every client receives the best possible customer service. This combined with your expertise in understanding and applying legislation will ensure excellent results.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
- Background and Security clearance checks will be conducted including National Police Records Check and a pre-employment medical is required for all new employees.

Applicants should have a reasonable level of fitness, be willing to climb ladders and able to walk across uneven ground.

Minimum C class driver’s licence is essential, Class Medium Rigid (MR) or above is highly desired.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from October 2026 until 30 June 2027 with possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
