As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred, safe, and effective support tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences. Your primary focus will be empowering clients to maintain their independence and self-determination, enabling them to thrive in the comfort of their own homes.
A motor vehicle allowance and travel time is payable for travel between clients as well as a full working tool kit, including a mobile phone.

We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients. To be successful in this role, you will have:
Qualifications: Certificate III in a relevant field (Individual Support - Ageing, Aged Care, or Home & Community Care).
Experience: Minimum of 3 months of demonstrated experience in a personal care role, with the confidence to work independently without direct supervision.
Certifications: Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
Transport: A current, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence (C class) and your own registered, fully insured vehicle (essential).
Clinical Skills: Sound, best-practice personal care skills.
Specialist Knowledge: A strong understanding of supporting clients living with dementia, including managing challenging behaviours.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional time management, organisational skills, and the natural ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
Practical Skills: Basic cooking abilities.
A basic understanding of Home Care Packages (Highly Regarded).
