This role puts you as the face of our business, therefore, we require someone with an understanding/interest of the motor vehicle industry and be comfortable with building relationships with our customers.
Your key areas of responsibility are:
- Delivery of goods to customers.
- Assist with receiving and dispatching goods.
- General housekeeping of dispatch and office areas.
- Picking up parts from customers for repair and return.
- Assist with customer enquiries, both face to face & telephone.
- General cleaning and maintenance of delivery vehicles and workshop areas.
- Rotor machining and flywheel grinding.
- Brake shoe re-bonding.
- Workshop assistance.
It is essential that you have:
- Knowledge of Maitland and surrounding areas.
- Current driver's licence
- Experience driving a manual vehicle preferred.
- Good computer skills.
- A Positive attitude, reliable, punctual and have a good attendance record.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instruction / direction from senior staff.
- Ability to organise and prioritise deliveries and your workload.
- Physical capability for manual handling of automotive parts.
- Willingness to learn new skills across other areas of the business.
