Position: Reception/Room Attendant
Salary: Hospitality Industry General Award (Casual, 2 days per week)
About Us:
We are a vibrant Accommodation provider located in Tarcoola Beach, Geraldton. We pride ourselves on offering a welcoming and family-friendly environment for our guests. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated person to work 2 shifts per week (preferably Fridays and Saturdays) on a casual basis to enhance the experience for our visitors. There may be opportunities for more shifts to cover staff on leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests warmly and efficiently
- Manage in-person and online bookings
- Monitor/reply to guest email enquiries
- Process payments
- Maintain a neat, tidy and welcoming reception area
- Provide guests with information about local attractions and restaurants/shopping options
- Provide guests with clean and tidy rooms and amenities
Experience/Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in hospitality, parks or accommodation desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Newbook experience is a positive
- Proactive and have an understanding of workplace health and safety
- Ability to report to and be guided by Managers/Supervisors
- Proactive, fun and want to be a part of the team
- Flexibility to work when required
