We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
The development of positive, respectful relationships between staff and students is a high priority within our school. We are looking for applicants who engage in ongoing self-reflection, assist in creating an environment conducive to learning, produce or assist in implementing purposeful and relevant learning experiences that support a wide range of different student learning needs.
Within this role, applicants should be familiar with or willing to learn, strategies to assist in the implementation of a variety of specialised programs including behaviour analysis, FILIT, Direct instruction, Read, Write, Inc (RWI), Team Teach, Key Word Signs and provide support during offsite swimming lessons and other excursions and incursions.
Ideally, a Certificate IV qualification and experience in an ESC would be advantageous.

3. Demonstrated ability to assist professionals in the implementation and evaluation of education programs, including special education and, if required, occupational and/or physiotherapy programs.
4. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health and physical disabilities in students and adolescents.
