Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to provide architectural leadership and define the target-state design for our ITOM and Configuration Management transformation. The architect will be responsible for ensuring alignment with ServiceNow best practices, CSDM, and platform strategy while guiding delivery teams through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and solution design activities across ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CSDM initiatives.
- Define target-state CMDB and service modelling architecture aligned to ServiceNow best practices.
- Provide architectural governance and design assurance across project deliverables.
- Design scalable solutions for cloud discovery, tagging policy alignment, service mapping, integrations, and automation.
- Review and approve technical designs produced by developers and technical leads.
- Guide implementation of Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), CMDB Health, Service Mapping, Discovery, and CSDM adoption.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, platform owners, delivery teams, and vendors.
- Provide recommendations for CMDB maturity, service modelling, automation, and operational governance.
- Support roadmap planning, estimation, risk management, and solution governance.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience, including architecture leadership roles.
- Proven CSDM implementation experience (preferably CSDM 4.0/5.0) and Service Mapping delivery experience.
- Deep expertise in ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping automation.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale CMDB and ServiceNow transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, integrations, MID Server architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale service models and CMDB architectures.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-Discovery, CIS-Service Mapping, Certified Master Architect (CMA), or equivalent highly desirable.
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments and agile delivery models.
