Customer Service Team Member – Oceana Traders, Avalon Beach
School students preferred due to short shifts - after school and weekend shifts available.
Oceana Traders is a much-loved Avalon Beach venue, serving the local community for over a decade. Known for our relaxed coastal atmosphere, open kitchen, and friendly service, we’re looking for a Customer Service Team Member to join our front-of-house team.
About the Role
You’ll be the welcoming face of Oceana Traders, providing warm, efficient service and helping create a positive experience for every guest. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers with genuine friendliness
- Take orders and operate the POS system
- Serve food and drinks efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised service area
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service
About You
- Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Friendly, reliable, and well presented
- Calm and positive under pressure
- A strong team player with good communication skills

Pay Rates

Shifts
Please note the weekday after school shifts commence at 4pm.
