Job description

- Support clients in Respite Care
With a focus on providing onsite care for clients, your responsibilities can include:
- Help within the Cottage: Providing essential domestic support, including cooking, cleaning, and general housekeeping.
- Personal Care: Assisting clients with essential daily tasks to maintain independence and dignity, including personal hygiene, dressing, continence care, and feeding assistance.
- Medication: Provide assistance and support to the client with medication administration and activities of daily living.
- Social and wellbeing: Assisting clients with daily lifestyle hobbies, group activities, and social interactions.
Qualifications and experience
- Must have Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual equivalent qualifications
- Medication competency is preferred, but we can also help you achieve this
- Similar experience providing client centred care
- Current First Aid certificate
- Driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle is also preferred
