Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients , ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.
Responsibilities include:
Personal care including personal hygiene, grooming and showering
Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, help at home, domestic assistance - vacuuming, mopping, laundry, changing bed linen, essential meal preparation, grocery shopping assistance)
Engaging in social activities as required
About this location: Provide in-home care to clients across Mandurah & Peel region of WA.
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months experience in a similar role (ideally community setting)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
- Australian drivers licence and your own vehicle.
