Restaurant Manager – Full Time

The Terrace Hotel is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This is a hands-on management role requiring a strong leader with excellent operational, customer service and team management skills.
Mandatory Requirements
Please do not apply unless you meet ALL of the following essential criteria:
- Minimum 3 years' recent experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar senior hospitality management position.
- Relevant hospitality qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma or higher in Hospitality or Hospitality Management).
- Current WA Approved Manager Card (Red Card). Applications without a current Approved Manager Card will not be considered.
- Current FoodSafe Food Handler certificate.
- Strong understanding of WA liquor licensing legislation and responsible service of alcohol.
- Experience managing busy table-service restaurants.
- Proven leadership experience including staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance management.
- Experience with restaurant reservation systems, POS systems and cash reconciliation.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions.
- Current unrestricted Australian working rights or eligibility to work in Australia.
Availability
This position requires you to work the operational needs of the business, including:
- Wednesday to Sunday
- Lunch and dinner service
- Weekends and public holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day restaurant operation.
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards.
- Manage staff rosters and labour costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and liquor licensing legislation.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain food and service standards.
- Manage reservations, guest enquiries and complaints.
- Monitor stock levels and ordering.
- Maintain presentation and cleanliness throughout the venue.

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation
