Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistic Manager to oversee daily logistics operations and ensure the efficient movement of goods across domestic and international supply chains. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing transportation, warehouse operations, inventory management, and supplier performance while maintaining high service standards.
This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to solving operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily logistics and transportation operations
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency
- Manage relationships with freight carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment activities
- Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining service quality standards
- Analyze logistics performance and prepare operational reports
- Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations
- Coordinate warehouse operations and inventory accuracy
- Lead, mentor, and support logistics and warehouse personnel
- Investigate and resolve shipping, inventory, and delivery issues
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and customer service teams
- Maintain logistics documentation and operational records
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management
- Strong knowledge of freight operations, warehouse management, and inventory control
- Experience working with ERP systems and logistics software
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Australian logistics regulations is an advantage
