About the role
Alukura is a specialised women’s health and maternity service that was founded on the values of Aboriginal women’s Law and culture. Alukura services are delivered by and are only for women. The Medical Receptionist provides high standard and confidential client-focused services and support. The position acts as the face of the clinic, greeting clients and visitors and working closely with the clinical team, support staff and the Alukura Midwifery Group Practice (AMGP) teams to meet the needs of clients.
To be considered for this position, you will be require to meet the following essential requirements:

A woman of Aboriginal descent, identifies as an Aboriginal woman, and is accepted as an Aboriginal woman by the Aboriginal community.

Previous experience working in a medical receptionist or administrative role.

Ability to maintain high levels of privacy and confidentiality.

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, meet deadlines and work while under pressure.

Computer and word processing skills and experience using MS Office.
