Join one of Perth's most dynamic culinary teams and help deliver an exceptional buffet dining experience featuring a diverse range of international cuisines. As Sous Chef, you'll play a key leadership role in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring outstanding food quality, consistency, and presentation across multiple live cooking stations and service styles.
- Support the Chef de Cuisine in leading a large, high-volume kitchen operation.
- Oversee the preparation and service of premium buffet offerings across various cuisines.
- Lead and develop a team of chefs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Drive food quality, presentation standards, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with rostering, labour management, food costs, and inventory control.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance.
- Qualified Chef with completed apprenticeship.
- Experience in high-volume buffet, hotel, resort, or large-scale hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of multiple cuisines and modern cooking techniques.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Commercially minded with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Experience in premium buffet style restaurants will be highly regarded
- Full 7-day availability is an essential requirement
