We are a boutique hotel located in Sydney CBD seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our small and friendly team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
About the Role
You will be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and ensuring the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards
- Make beds and change bed linen
- Clean bathrooms and replenish towels and amenities
- Vacuum, dust and sanitise all areas of the room
- Ensure corridors and public areas are kept clean and tidy
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management
- Follow hotel safety and hygiene procedures
- Work efficiently within a small housekeeping team
Typical housekeeping duties include bed making, bathroom cleaning, restocking amenities and general room cleaning to maintain guest comfort and hygiene standards.
About You
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
