Okami Frankston is looking for an enthusiastic Front of House team member to join our team!
About the Role
We're seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individual to help deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As part of our front of house team, you'll be the face of Okami, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and well taken care of from the moment they walk in.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional attitude
- Take orders accurately and provide menu recommendations
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and with care
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
- Process payments and manage table turnover efficiently
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
What We're Looking For
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred (not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A team player with great attention to detail
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality is a plus!
