Occuhealth is seeking an experienced Mould Consultant to join our Hazmat team.
Based from either our Belmont or Mandurah office, you’ll work across a variety of mould, moisture and indoor environmental quality projects across residential, commercial, industrial, mining and government environments.
You’ll be supported by an experienced Hazmat team, specialist field resources and our NATA-accredited laboratory, while having the independence to manage projects and build trusted client relationships.
The Role
You will deliver mould and moisture consulting services across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
Key responsibilities include:

Mould Investigations: Conduct mould, moisture and indoor environmental quality assessments across a variety of sites.
- Site Assessments: Identify moisture sources and assess building conditions contributing to mould growth.
- Sampling: Undertake air and surface sampling where required.
- Technical Reporting: Prepare clear reports with practical findings and remediation recommendations.
- Project Delivery: Manage projects from initial enquiry through to final reporting.
- Client Engagement: Provide practical advice and build trusted relationships with clients, insurers, property managers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Travel: Attend metropolitan, regional and occasional interstate sites as required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:

Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience conducting mould investigations, moisture assessments or indoor environmental quality assessments.
- Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in environmental health, environmental science, occupational hygiene, building science or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Experience identifying moisture sources and assessing conditions that may contribute to mould growth.
- Reporting: Strong technical report writing and analytical skills.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.
- Driver’s Licence: A current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Working Rights: Australian working rights.
Experience within environmental, occupational hygiene or hazardous materials consulting will be highly regarded. Experience using moisture meters, thermal imaging or mould sampling equipment, or working with insurers, remediation contractors and property managers, is also desirable.
