You’ll work alongside experienced electricians across a wide range of residential electrical work, gaining hands-on experience while continuing to develop your technical skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working alongside qualified electricians on residential projects
- Assisting with electrical installations, repairs and maintenance
- Learning fault finding and problem solving
- Installing lighting, power points, switchboards and other electrical equipment
- Reading plans and understanding electrical requirements
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
- Developing your customer service and communication skills
- Keeping your tools, vehicle and work areas clean and organised
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is currently a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
- Has a genuine interest in becoming a great electrician
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Is keen to learn and take direction
- Works well as part of a team
- Presents professionally and treats customers with respect
- Has a current driver's licence or is working towards one
- Takes safety seriously
